Constellation Jewelry

Is someone on your holiday list a shining star? Do you love them to the moon and back? Do they make you think of other space and star-related cliches and puns? You should get them this jewelry.

These bracelets and necklaces feature constellations that represent the signs of the zodiac. (The one above is the “Scorpio Cuff.”) Great for the astrology or space fan in your life!

Constellation Jewelry, $36-40 each at Fab.com.

ThinkGeek’s Charm Bracelet

If you were to believe the ads that are everywhere around this time of year, you’d think every woman wanted a European-style charm bracelet with the following “unique” and “personal” items on it: flip flops, a crystal birthstone, a ladybug, the Eiffel Tower, and a purse. I’ve never in my life wanted a flip-flop or a purse on a bracelet. Although the idea behind these bracelets is cool (create a custom bracelet and get a new bead for each holiday/big occasion in your life) I just haven’t found beads that represent me.

As usual, ThinkGeek has come to the rescue. They’ve released their own charm bracelet that includes things like Timmy, a companion cube, a computer, and a “bling mushroom.” I wouldn’t be surprised to see them releasing new beads further down the road as well.

The bracelet itself is $39.99 and the beads range from $12.99-29.99 at ThinkGeek.com. It’ll make a fantastic gift for all of the geeky ladies in your life!

Christmas Tree Googly Eyes

Santa’s not the only one that can see you when you’re sleeping when you have these googly eyes on your tree…

The eyes go on your tree just like any other ornament, and add the perfect dash of whimsy and creepiness.

Christmas Tree Googly Eyes, $7.95 at Amazon.com.

Geek Tree

It’s almost December already. Christmas is 26 days away. If, like me, your tree isn’t decorated (or even set up) yet, you need to get yourself over to Geek Tree asap. You’ll find ornaments, stockings, and other goodies that will make the perfect addition to your tree or a great gift for a friend. I’m a huge fan of the Companion Cube stocking, but I keep holding out for a TARDIS one.

Her inventory changes out fairly regularly, so check back often! These ornaments will surely be some of the best conversation pieces in your home.

Geeky Christmas Decorations, $6-40 at Etsy.

3D Dinosaur Cookies

If baking isn’t enough science for you, then you should grab these cookie cutters. Make yourself some cookies AND put together a 3D dinosaur? Win-win. The dinosaurs all come in their own kits, and they’re around $12 a piece. Reenact Jurassic Park and then feast on the bodies. You know you want to.

3D Dinosaur Cookie Cutters, around $12 each from SuckUK.

Instagram Your Chocolate

I just downloaded Instagram for the first time today. I know, I know. I have an older Android phone, and I had to manually update the OS to even get access to Instagram. I haven’t even taken a picture yet. BUT, Cocoagraph is giving me a reason to get snapping. I can turn my best Instagrams into works of edible art by putting it on a chocolate bar! This would be a fantastic holiday gift, party favor, or “thanks for putting up with me and my wedding” gift to your bridesmaids after your wedding is over.

What would you put on a cocoagraph? And what are some good Instagram tips/tricks for a noob like myself?

Instagrammed chocolate bars, $18-30 based on size and amount, are available at Cocoagraph.com.
