I couldn’t make a Tomb Raider Cookbook without including Beans on Toast–it’s Lara Croft’s favorite food! And while traditionally you literally plop a can of beans onto some toasted bread, I had to make it a little more special. Presenting: Beans on Toast from scratch! A little fancier, super tasty, and right at home at the Croft Manor.
What a fun idea combining Tomb Raider with a cookbook! The beans on toast recipe feels very true to Lara Croft’s no-nonsense survival style. Gaming-inspired food content is such a creative niche — it bridges the gap between pop culture and everyday cooking in a really charming way. Can’t wait to try this one.
